This service shows you the current status of one or more containers at the terminals of ECT.
Authorisation
You can find this public service at the homepage of ECT.nl in menu ‘Tracing’ under the name ‘Container Status’ and after been registered and logged in under menu ‘My services’ and then ‘Tracking & tracing’.
To see more container detail information, like block and release status, you can request for authorisation for the service ‘Container Status Extra’ and the specific container operator code. Herefor you have to register to ECT.nl.
After requesting for authorisation the request will be send to the specific container operator and he/she will be handling your request. If you have been authorised for ‘Container Status Extra’ by the container operator a mail will be send to you.
Selection
If public permission is granted by the container operator to ECT to show brief container information to the public for specific container operator code(s) then you can see only the following container details:
- Operator code
- Sizetype
- Status (present/not present)
- Location (terminal of ECT)

Multiple selection
Use the ‘Multiple’ button to find the status of more then one container at the same time. A popup will be opened where you can type one or more containers (prefix/number) or can paste a list with containers. By clicking at the ‘Go’ button all information will be shown of the selected containers.
