Password 



You can ask for a new password by first clicking at ‘Login’ and then ‘Request new password’.
After that fill in your username and emailaddress of your ECT.nl account and click at the button Submit. A new password will be send via email if your emailaddress is the same as your emailaddress of your ECT.nl account.

You get an e-mail with a new password at the e-mail address of your ECT.nl account.

Passwords are valid for a period of three months, starting from the date/time you first created (or last changed) your account password.

Fourteen days before your password expires, you will be presented with a system message after logging in, informing you that your current password will expire in xx days (where xx represents the number of days remaining until your password expires).

Change your password when prompted with the reminder message. If you have not changed your password before the expiration date, you risk locking your account.



When creating (or changing) your password, your password needs to conform to the following rules:
  • Password lenght is a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10
  • Must contain at least one upper-case character
  • Must contain at least one special character (like # or ! or &)
  • Must contain at least one digit
